About PrevailReady

Certified payroll software for prevailing wage contractors, built and run by one developer who answers the support email himself.

Who is behind it

PrevailReady is built and operated by Senoussi Belghoul, an independent software developer, as a sole proprietor trading as Aegis Tech Solutions, based in Mostaganem, Algeria. He writes the software, keeps the official formats up to date and answers support. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record: Paddle charges your card, handles sales tax and invoices, and processes refunds under our refund policy.

Why it exists

Payroll systems pay prevailing wage workers, but most of them do not produce the weekly certified payroll an agency asks for: the WH-347, New York's XML, California's eCPR file or New Jersey's Wage Hub templates. Contractors end up retyping numbers their payroll already calculated, every week, under a signed statement of compliance. PrevailReady reads the payroll report and timesheet you already export, checks each worker's pay against your wage determination before you sign, and builds the files.

Where your payroll data goes

It stays on your computer. The app reads your payroll files inside your web browser and builds the files there, so worker names, identifiers, hours and pay are never sent to our servers, wherever we are. Our servers keep only your account, your project settings and a record of which weeks you created, stored with Cloudflare in its Eastern North America region. The security page shows how to check this yourself in your browser's developer tools.

How the rules are kept current

  • The New York and California files are checked against the schemas NYSDOL and DIR publish, in your browser, before you download them. New York work categories are also checked against NYSDOL's published classification list.
  • The New Jersey files follow NJDOL's CSV templates column for column.
  • The WH-347 is the Department of Labor's own January 2025 form, filled in.
  • Each guide cites its official sources and shows when it was last updated. When an agency changes a form, schema or template, the tools and guides are updated.

A schema check shows a file matches the published format; it cannot promise that a portal will accept it, because portals can apply rules of their own. After you upload, the app asks with one click whether the portal accepted the file, so problems are found and fixed quickly.

Try it before you pay

The free tools need no account. In the app, setting up projects and checking payroll is free, and a sample project shows a full check in two minutes. You pay only to download a week's files: $9 for one report, or a monthly plan. See pricing.
