Payroll files in the free tools

The free tools on prevailready.com read your payroll files inside your web browser. The contents of those files (employee names, identifiers, addresses, hours, wages, and similar data) are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us.

Data we do collect

  • Anonymous usage counts. When you use a tool, your browser may send an event name, such as "file generated". We store daily totals only. No IP address, file contents, or personal data is stored with these counts.
  • Early-access sign-ups. If you join early access, we store your email address, the plan you chose, the page you signed up on, and the date. We use it only to tell you when the app opens.
  • Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites, to count page views.
  • Support emails. If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you.
  • Purchases. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive order details such as your name, email, country, and plan, but never your full card details.

How we use data

Only to provide and improve the Service, respond to you, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Where data is stored

Sign-ups and usage counts are stored with Cloudflare, Inc. Purchase data is held by Paddle. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Retention

Early-access emails are kept until the app opens and you have been notified, or until you ask us to delete them. Usage counts contain no personal data.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or California law), you may have additional rights, which we will honor.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children.
